Ramair ProMax Closed Air Intake – JSK-316-BK
The Ramair ProMax JSK-316-BK is a closed performance air intake for various VAG models with a 1.8 TSI/TFSI or 2.0 TSI/TFSI EA888 Gen 3 engine on the MQB platform.
The kit replaces the restrictive original air filter housing and intake hose with a larger closed aluminum airbox, a Ramair foam filter, and specially shaped silicone intake hoses. This allows air to flow more smoothly and with less turbulence towards the turbo.
The aluminum housing shields the air filter from heat in the engine bay. The large bell-mouthed air intake helps guide cold air more efficiently to the filter. This provides a sportier induction and turbo sound and can improve throttle response and airflow.
The ProMax intake is suitable for daily street use as well as tuned vehicles and motorsport applications.
