MST Performance Cold Air Intake – MST-VW-MK777

The MST Performance MST-VW-MK777 is a complete cold-air-intake for various VAG models with a 1.8 or 2.0 TSI/TFSI EA888 Gen 3 engine on the MQB platform.

The kit replaces the restrictive original air filter housing, plastic intake hose, and turbo inlet. Thanks to the 3-inch silicone intake hose and the oversized 3-inch aluminum turbo inlet elbow, a more direct and less restrictive intake path to the turbo is created.

The large dry, pleated sports air filter is shielded by a black powder-coated heat shield. This better protects the filter from heat from the engine compartment and allows cool air to be supplied more efficiently to the turbo. The intake also provides a clearly sportier induction and turbo sound and sharper throttle response. MST states a maximum power gain of approximately 12 to 14 hp, depending on the car and other modifications.
