HG Motorsport HFI Open Air Intake Kit – VAG EA888 Gen4 2.0 TSI 245 hp DNPA

The HG Motorsport HFI Open Air Intake Kit (HGHFISV07R) is developed for VAG models with the EA888 Gen4 2.0 TSI DNPA engine with 180 kW / 245 hp. The open air filter system replaces the restrictive original air filter housing and provides improved air supply to the turbo.

The kit includes a large Pipercross performance air filter and a suitable heat shield that partially protects the filter from heat in the engine compartment. Thanks to the optimized intake hose, the engine can draw in air more easily, which is particularly beneficial for vehicles with software or hardware tuning.

Due to the open design, the intake and turbo sound become more clearly audible. This gives the car a sportier character, with more audible turbo spool and blow-off sounds when shifting or releasing the throttle.
