HF-Series Carbon Intake – HGHFISV07-1

The HF-Series HGHFISV07-1 is a high-performance carbon air intake for various VAG models with a 2.0 TSI/TFSI EA888 Gen 4 engine. The system is designed for maximum airflow, a sportier intake sound, and a high-quality appearance in the engine bay.

The original air filter housing and intake hose are replaced by a larger housing made of real carbon fiber and an optimized silicone intake hose. This hose has an internal diameter of no less than 89 mm / 3.5 inches at the air filter, allowing air to flow towards the turbo with significantly less restriction.

According to the manufacturer, the optimized design on the flow bench improves airflow by up to 58% and 70%, depending on the measured configuration. This makes the intake suitable for both standard vehicles and cars with chip tuning, hardware upgrades, or a larger turbo.

The included Pipercross foam filter was specially developed for this system and also has an 89 mm connection. The filter is oiled and reusable.

Turbo Inlet

For the 245 hp versions, including those with engine code DNPA, the intake can optionally be combined with the matching HF-Series turbo inlet. This removes the last restriction at the turbo.

For the 300, 310, 320, and 333 hp versions, this additional turbo inlet is not necessary. These vehicles use a different turbo connection that, according to the manufacturer, is already optimally designed as standard.

Silicone Coolant Hose Included

To create sufficient space under the larger carbon airbox, the original coolant hose is replaced by a specially shaped silicone underhose. This hose is included as standard.

Always check the vehicle's engine code, power, and type approval number before ordering. The optional HF-Series turbo inlet is only required for the compatible 245 hp versions; it is not used for the 300, 310, 320, and 333 hp models.
