The HF-Series HFI Carbon Air Intake Kit Gen.3 (HGHFISV04G3) was developed for VAG models with a 1.8 or 2.0 T(F)SI EA888 Gen.3 Euro 6 engine. The system replaces the entire original air filter housing, the plastic intake funnel, and the original intake tract.

The airbox, made entirely of real carbon, combines low weight with high rigidity and excellent thermal insulation. Inside the airbox is a specially developed Pipercross performance air filter positioned transversely to the airflow. This allows the filter to be flowed over a larger surface area and directs air more efficiently to the turbo.

The system features a 76 mm intake pipe and uses the full width of the front air guide to supply fresh air. The flow-optimized design ensures freer airflow, a sportier intake sound, and direct response. The intake is suitable for both standard vehicles and cars with software and hardware upgrades. The included Pipercross filter has a specified airflow rate of 503.1 cfm.
