E-Intake Open Carbon Air Intake – EA888 Gen4 245/265 hp DNP

The E-Intake Open Carbon Air Intake (OI-EA888-GEN4-1.3-C) has been developed for VAG models with the EA888 Gen4 2.0 TSI DNP engine family, including the DNPA 245 hp and DNPD 265 hp. The open intake system replaces the original air filter housing and ensures a significantly freer air supply to the turbo.

The large carbon intake funnel tapers from 152 mm to 76 mm and is designed to reduce airflow resistance and increase the available intake volume. On the flow bench, the system achieves 50.5% more airflow than the original air intake. This supports faster air delivery, a more direct throttle response, and more efficient turbo pressure build-up.

Due to the open design, the intake and turbo sound are significantly more audible. The high-quality carbon finish also provides a sporty look in the engine bay. The intake is suitable for both standard vehicles and cars with software and hardware upgrades.

The system comes with inspection documentation. Its compatibility with various type-approved exhaust systems and downpipes has been included in the product approval; always check local regulations for use on public roads.
