Forge Motorsport FMMK5FMIC Performance Intercooler – 1.8 & 2.0 TFSI

Improve the performance and reliability of your 1.8 or 2.0 TFSI VAG engine with the Forge Motorsport FMMK5FMIC Performance Intercooler. This high-quality front-mount intercooler replaces the original intercooler and is designed to significantly lower intake air temperatures. Ideal for both standard vehicles and cars with a Stage 1, Stage 2, or larger turbo upgrade.

Thanks to its large 650 x 400 x 50 mm Bar & Plate core, this intercooler offers much higher cooling capacity and better airflow than the original unit. As a result, the intake air remains up to 20°C cooler, increasing air density and significantly limiting power loss due to heat.

During practical tests on a standard vehicle, a power gain of 10 hp and 29 ft-lbs was measured, with the greatest benefits seen in tuned engines with higher power output.

The intercooler features 63 mm inlet and outlet pipes and can be installed either independently or in combination with the Forge Twintercooler Kit. For vehicles without a Twintercooler, the necessary Forge FMKT010 silicone hoses are included for easy Plug & Play installation.
