CTS Turbo Air Intake Kit – CTS-IT-270R-1
The CTS Turbo CTS-IT-270R-1 is a complete open air intake system for various powerful VAG models with the 2.0 TSI/TFSI EA888 Gen 3 engine on the MQB platform.
The system replaces the restrictive original air filter housing and intake pipe with a generously sized aluminum intake pipe and an open high-flow sports air filter. The large diameter of the intake pipe ensures a freer airflow towards the turbo, allowing it to spool up faster and more efficiently.
The sports air filter is partially shielded by a black heat shield. This limits direct heat from the engine bay while allowing the filter to draw in sufficient cold air from the original air supply.
In addition to improved airflow, the intake provides a clearer induction sound, more audible turbo noise, and more direct throttle response. The CTS Turbo intake is suitable for both standard vehicles and cars with software and hardware tuning.
